| David is a trial lawyer with more than 25 years experience, eight of which were as a prosecutor with the Justice Department. He has tried more than 50 criminal and civil cases before juries, judges and arbitration panels and argued appeals before three federal circuits and several departments of the New York State Appellate Division.
Today, he is a partner with Mysliwiec & Hammer, LLP, where his practice spans a wide range of civil and criminal litigation. In his active private civil practice, his cases have ranged from contested corporate mergers to employment discrimination to suits for accountant malpractice.
While working as Special Assistant United States Attorney in Florida, David supervised all prosecutions arising out of the 1980 Cuban “boat lift” and received the Justice Department’s Special Achievement Award.
David received a JD from the University of Chicago Law School, a MA in American History from the State University of New York in Binghamton, an MS from Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism, a BA in History and Literature from SUNY Binghamton, and has taken classes in microeconomic at New York University to further his knowledge of antitrust and merger issues. He is also a member of the Southern District of New York Panel of Bankruptcy Mediators.
